Looking to add a pair of down pants to my pack for my western hunts and for my treestand hunting in the South. What brand(s) do y'all use and/or recommend?
They will only be used when stationary, no stalking in them.

Thanks

I've never really used puffy pants, but First Lite just came out with the Uncompahgre pants. If they're anything like the jacket they should be mighty cozy.

KUIU super down pants I have I stuff them in my pack. Zip on and zip off!

Kuiu is the only company I know of making down pants.

But FL is making a synthetic pant now, and I've used a pair of Mountain Hardwear Compressor Pants for years.

Feathered Friends is the other brand that I've been looking at online, but have never seen them in person.

I have the Sitka ones. They are nice when needed. Zippers up to waistband so easy to get on and off with boots on.
I also vacuum pack them so they take up less space until needed.

This, and KUIU has them in there Outlet at a discounted price. They also have Kenia pants that are synthetic and weigh a few oz less and are less expensive. The Kenai are what I use and worth every penny.
