My son has some free time coming up, so I'm planning a fall bear hunt in unit 1 Idaho September 3rd. Looking to hunt around Priest lake, and yo the east around spruce lake, and queen mountain. Wondering if there are better spots I'm not seeing on topo maps, with better spot and stalk advantage? Looking for local, or first hand knowledge and advice. We are planning to pack in, and go the distance if necessary.
