Anyone know of any good places in the unit? Trying to see if it is worth bringing the 17 HMR and maybe the 223. Any advice appreciated.

Just saying unit 48 really doesn't tell us where you're talking about because unit numbers vary in area depending on what animal you're talking about. Are you talking abut antelope unit 48, deer 48, or elk 48?

yep, just realized I left that out. Thinks for bringing it to my attention. It is unit 48 antelope, but anything in 63 will work too since we are probably camping along the miracle mile.
You can find dog towns in almost every antelope area. Pick an isolated one.
Not sure other antelope hunters will appreciate it.Have dealt with prairie dog shooters before during antelope season and they do affect animal movements. Some HMA's may not allow it . Just be considerate of other antelope hunters.
