Hello all. I've been hunting the Canadian wilderness for decades. Exploring is half the fun for me. Packing out a moose is the other half! Now I am in serious planning mode for my first Colorado elk hunt.
I've seen some fantastic bear, moose, elk, deer, bighorns and wolves come out of Canada! Look forward to your pics and stories of the adventure. Oh, welcome aboard!
I live 1 mile from the border, have relatives scattered across Canada, and we are headed to northern Quebec in two days for a week of walleye fishing. Which province are you from ?
Quick update: My 2017 Colorado elk hunt was a success. Wore out a pair of boots in the Gunnison National Forest and shot a nice young bull. Totally DIY. Many thanks to Randy and other back country hunters who willingly share tips and strategies.
