I believe so. I've got a few areas that I want to check out when we get there to see if the deer are still using the area and check out some new country that I haven't seen before.

Good deal. I've spoken once with the biologist. Gonna call him again this week as I now have good maps for unit 80. We plan on hunting National Forest and maybe some of the transitional areas between forest and BLM. Found some gated areas with no vehicle travel in the National Forest that gives me a little hope regarding hunting pressure

Thats what im afraid of. I love mine but rarely use it while hunting. We will be on foot.

Don't be afraid to take a look out in the BLM up NW. Foothills of Pennock might be a decent starting point. If you want a steep hunt try Kennaday Peak. Some good country around Pass Cr.
