Very sweet, that is an awesome piece of taxidermy. Having never saw one I'm assuming those are cinnamon teal? They are beautiful, very nice piece of work. Excellent background and base very lifelike.

Outstanding piece! Just from the pics, you get a sense of movement or 'alive-ism'. Bet it almost has motion to it in person...

About 30 years ago I picked up the "angel stand" in Tijuana. Didn't know then what I was going to use it for but I liked it. The "table top" piece is a hand carved Mexican picture frame. I have a collection of Mexican frames that I alter for similar projects.

It's the Jap model. It just looks older, it's seen continuous use since I bought it when I was a teenager in the late 70's. We've grown old and ugly together.
