We drew 73-6 tags and then second choice unit 16-1 and region C mule deer. I put in for these tags because of my dad is going this year "his first trip out west" and not being able to put a lot of miles on walking that unit 16 needs to make the best of it. I really want him to get a few animals and enjoy his time. Looking at onx maps it looks like a great unit with tons of public and roads around. I figure I'll get there later in September then hunt it 3 or 4 days and head to Buffalo for the Oct 1 opener for 16 and C. Has anyone hunted this unit for doe and will it be as good as I think it is going to be ? I found what looks like a decent stream and some water on BLM off of 33 mile road I think I'm going to set the wall tent up near. Good luck everyone.
