Idaho Draw Question

And before any one ask I'm not trying to apply this year.

I'm just curious about a draw scenario. I understand that if you apply for mountain goat, sheep, or moose you can't apply for anything else. However, if you don't draw whichever of the three you applied for can you pick up an elk general tag?
 
Thanks. I had wanted to to put in for moose or sheep in the future but if not drawn was hoping to get an OTC elk tag to take advantage of the $150 spent on the hunting license.
 
Didn't realize they had a general deer tag. I guess I need to look into Idaho's system more. Thanks for the heads up. Gives me another state that I have to research now.

Would love to do one of the wilderness hunts in Idaho but the wife doesn't want me to do it by myself due to the added predators. Maybe I can find somebody who would want to do that.
