Arizona OTC mule deer in good elk units

My question is, does anyone have any advise on units in Arizona that are ok OTC mule deer units and ok to decent elk units? That way I can mule deer hunt the area Im waiting to draw an elk tag in/ build points and learn the area. I dont need huge bulls or bucks...Thanks

Units 7 and 5 are good elk and have some nice mule deer just takes time to find them. Usually find one or two nice bucks when I use my cameras looking for elk. I hunted 7w a few years back - took the month off and hunted deer and scouted elk the first two weeks of September and then settled in on the elk last two weeks. Great experience not sure I will be able to take a month again to hunt.

also you have 22 and 23 which both have elk, mule and coues deer.
