Finally drew a Tule tag - archery cow

Having moved here years after the current points system in Kalistan started I knew a bull tag was all but impossible without max points (pretty much impossible with max points) so I have been putting in for archery cow for 11 years and finally drew it. Now I can get that species!

It is a November hunt, so they should hopefully be nice and fat with a nice hide for the tannery.

That's awesome, is it a FHL hunt? Hopefully, some early rains will set in and produce some feed.

Yes indeed! The grass is super high and new growth everywhere, just need a few late summer/ fall rains to keep them fat and happy. I will most likely have one or both of my knuckleheads with me as well, so that will make it even more fun!

FHL can be real fun. Hopefully they won't close too many areas for Mil.Ops.during your hunt.

That is always the risk there. I hunt there a lot, so hopefully I can have their movements pegged and get it done with one of the knuckleheads in tow, which will be difficult with a bow!

Thats epic. Congrats. Was hunting pig in FHL a couple days ago and saw a massive herd running around. Same w/ Camp Rob. California needs to get its crap together with the Tule. Both areas literally have a 1:1 bull/cow ratio. I live locally, sounds like you may too. Let me know if you need help with anything. Its awesome that you drew that tag...its a virtually impossible one to draw.
