Montana sheep tags

What does an ewe tag cost in montana? Curiosity has gotten the best of me and now I want to try to hunt in the near future. And I'm a NR too. Only thing I could find is that ram tags are $1250 but nothing about ewe tags.

I think ewe tags are also $1,250. Good draw odds though!

Well I'm young and dumb enough to go sheep hunting before I have kids and more important things so it might be a thing I will do. I've been looking and the draw odds for a NR ewe tag are fairly good. I guess $1250 for a sheep tag is just something you have to deal with. I really wouldn't want to do an unlimited hunt since that seems to draw a lot of attention..

If solitude is what you seek, you'll find it in spades hunting the unlimited districts. The country there is the reason they can offer unlimited sheep tags after all.

Makes sense. Id also rather have a better chance of seeing/shooting a sheep as well.
