I made the mistake of watching an episode of Extreme Outer Limits today. 
They were hunting in Mexico and shot a very big muley. They then procceded to put the ungutted buck on top of the hood wedged into the highrack frame they had on the truck. They obviously had no intention of using the meat because it would be ruined. The guy on camera said it's only 10am so we can still keep hunting all day.
Even if they planned on giving the meat to the ranch hands they should take better care of the animal.
These type of tv hunting shows are ruining old Mexico. There was not a mexican to be seen anywhere other than the guy driving the truck and the cook. Outfitter and guides were all gringos.
Soon it will be no different than all the private leases in texas. It used to be quite an accomplishment to go down there and kill a giant mulie. Now you just have to have the $$$ to get on a private lease.
