Purchased this pack last year for elk season and used once (packed an elk out with it also). Great pack, however, it wasn't exactly what I am looking for. Works awesome because I carried in one haul 2 (yes that's 2) hind quarters (approx 150 lbs) about 1 mile to the access road. So, it's a proven pack. It's just too large for what I really need. You can even stash your 15s in behind the head with no issues. Plenty of straps and pockets and Tripod mounting system. Pack is in great shape as you can see from the photos.
It's about 7200 ci for I had enough stuffed in it for 10 days on a trip to Colorado last year. It definitely can do a whole deer with no problem.
Currently the pack retails for about $575 (including the tax) w/o tax it's $530.
I'm asking $500 firm. This will allow me to purchase a smaller versatile pack that I'm interested in.
