Based on my CC charge, it looks like I lucked out on a random Book Cliffs bull elk tag in Utah, for the late hunt. I have 14 deer points, and plan on hitting the BC in the next couple of years on the archery hunt, but certainly wasn't expecting to pull a bull tag for another decade or more.

If anyone has hunted it before, and is willing to share any intel, it would be very much appreciated. If not, I hope to have some awesome pictures to post later this year.

This is from the deer forum, but it's a good writeup on Bookcliff terrain and hunting. I typically hunt the CO side of the Bookcliffs, never hunted in UT. BC can be some steep hard-to-access country. When the contour lines all come together to make one...bad juju. I know the grass is always greener, but I've heard from several people that the hunting is better on the UT side. Good luck!
