Wyoming Deer tags - Can you exchange for a different unit?

I will be putting in for Wyoming antelope for this fall and wouldn't mind having a deer tag in my pocket too. We will be hunting Oct 16 to 20. My plan was to put in for Gen tags with open seasons near the antelope units on my list. Unfortunately, I am a low PP applicant so it's likely I could draw antelope and deer tags that aren't geographically close.

I know Wyoming doesn't allow you to return tags, but will they allow you to exchange tags assuming there are tags available? I looked at the web site but could find the answer in the deer brochure or the website.

We know we are going to end our trip by running by Devil's Tower and Mt Rushmore, so I might just have to put in for Unit A. A little parting gift after we tag out on antelope

Firearms doesn't open in A until 11/1, so that could present a problem.

You pay your money and if you draw or buy a leftover then that is your tag to use or not use. Choose wisely.

Sorry, messed that one up. There are limited entry tags available and Region B Gen tags.

Got the point though no transfer, exchange or refunds.

Sounds like I need to focus on the antelope draw and then see what I can make happen with other species after that.
