    Default ISO Hillmann DVD's

Looking to see if anyone out there might have some of the Bill Hillmann retriever training dvd's that they would be willing to part with. If you do pm me and we'll go from there. Thanks in advance.

Ah man. Yeah will be getting my pup on the 20th. Going to order sound begginings by Jackie Mertens soon but really interested in the Hillmann dvd's after researching and watching his youtube channel. Interested in Lardy as well but heard for newbies he can be a little challenging to follow.

I gave him sound beginnings too, to be honest I never used it. It was too conflicting between the two videos and I went with Hillman. At 12 weeks he would sit on a whistle and at 16 I had him sitting(sit means sit) and I could walk across a football field and he wouldn't budge. One lesson I learned, do not throw too many bumpers for the pup, retrieving is in their blood and he learned so bad habit by getting too many bumpers before he was FF'd.

Lardy isn't too hard, FF will test your nerves tho and may want someone that's done it to help you if you've never FF'd a pup.

Alright well maybe I'll just stick with Hillmann. Hopefully there is someone else that has a copy laying around. Just curious but what would you want for the Lardy TRT? Thanks for the help

My favorite Hillman concept is the concept of conditioning retrievers:

I condition pup for reliable and eager recall at an early age:

I also use the concept to condition for reliable and eager healing while jump shooting:

A quiet, steady, and eagerly obedient retriever can be conditioned using Hillman's methods.
Fun for both the trainer and the dog.
