Wyoming Preference Point Only & Tag Surrender info

I cant find the preference point only fees on the Wyoming website. Anyone know what it costs just to apply for them after July 1? By species.

Also, if you draw a tag and can't go on the hunt, can return it before the season begins and get a point? I called WGF but they couldn't answer the question.

Elk - $50
Sheep - $100

And you can't return your tag like CO unless something major happens. The circumstances are listed on the WY Fish and Game website.

Yeah, I saw that, but it talked about being unsuccessful in the draw. Didn't know if it was the same cost. Appreciate the research!

As Kiwi said: tag returns are limited to extreme circumstances. Unless they make some changes to the system, buying sheep and moose points is useless. There are something like 75 years worth of applicants ahead of you. Whoever thought it was a good idea to use a preference system for these species is an idiot.
