After not being able to make it out over the weekend due to me working and his baseball games and a birthday for one of his friends. We decided to go this morning ,our first location was a bust so it was off to my parents farm. The turkeys were gobbling so we hustled to the edge of the woods to set up. A minute or so after sitting down the turkeys started flying down and angling towards us on there way toward the fields. Unfortunately the tom slipped past us without giving Haydn a shot but there were two stragglers lagging behind. A couple excited hen yelps and I had them coming our way at 30 yards he pulled the trigger on his new 20 gauge and his second ever turkey was flopping on the ground.
