Hi Guys and Girls.

I am Alan from Scotland.
i am 27 year old.
i do a lot of hunting in Scotland.

CWD

i use a .243 for all my shooting from foxes up to the Big Reds.

i have join this site to learn about how you guys hunt and the tag systems

Nice tusks on that muntjac. I had a run in with one in Hertfordshire while on a pheasant shoot a few years ago.

That is a Chinese Water Deer Buck he scored out as a Gold Medal. CWD dont have antlers at all. They just have these big tusks

A Muntjac is a smaller deer which has antlers which look like hooks. They also have tucks but not as big as the CWD

My mistake. I wondered about the absence of antlers, thought it might just be an old specimen. Some guys on here might have also been confused as to what CWD meant. Over here that acronym is used for "Chronic Wasting Disease" which occasionally decimates local deer populations.

Yeah CWD over here is Chinese Water Deer over here. nice wee deer
