Sometimes they just hand you one! I wish it could go this good for me w elk hunting! My preseason scouting didnt pin down any patterns for the turkeys. Plus a lack of time off work and a nasty sinus infection limited my scouting efforts. I actually decided to sleep in on opening morning with my sinus infection. I made it out hunting by 8am. Long story short. I located a flock of 4 hens and 2 toms right away in an area i haven't seen them scouting. 30 mins of maneuvering ahead of them put them right in my lap. My smiling was from how easy it was(cause it usually isn't) and the fact that i could take a nap !
