    Thumbs up 2017 MT Bear

This boar stumbled into a bad deal on opening day of spring season.
Not my kill but he provided for the most exciting opening day I can remember.

Right on. Looks like a nice bear.

Me and a buddy are heading out to Central Montana Lewistown area does anybody know any areas to avoid, or that are a waste of time, going for turkeys and I actually heard the black bear population is pretty decent there to any insight would be greatly appreciated I talked to a warden and he pointed me just east of Lewistown and the other warden said go south

Watt21. ...I called to talk to the biologist but he is on leave, so that's the reason I called two wardens and got two different suggestions.

Nice bear! Didn't know you could ask biologist where's a good spot to hunt! Ha ha! Might have to find me a local one before September.
