hello, I'm from FL, been hunting my whole life in in the south but have decided to try and expand my boundaries to out west. Actually I'm determined, and excited to try and get an elk, and I know that experience is what can teach the most. So, been reading and I really appreciate all of you who offer the valuable wisdom taught only from experience. Thanks
 
Welcome. What part of Florida? My wife is from corral springs. She was there when the everglades were across the dirt road she lived on. Now its an aquatic complex, multiple schools, a shopping mall, and countless homes. Visited a few years ago and really liked western and central Florida. I really liked the Peace River.
 
Speed I'm from central. Florida grows faster then a blink of an eye. Coral springs used to be real nice. Grown like Orlando.
