It's been beaten to death on HuntTalk, but when I hear this from proponents of transfer or sale, like Mr. Eaton from the article, I can't help but roll my eyes:“People are just tired of being told what to do all the time, and they’re saying, ‘These are our lands."
Outside of the few who own large chunks of private lands, Public lands are the place where the majority of people go to escape being "told what to do". I know I do.
