Hey guys, names Sam, but they call me the powderhogg. I hunt all fall and ski all winter, only to do it again the next year. I currently just relocated to utah from colorado. Looking forward to getting into some different country.
Last year I had several good encounters, learned a lot.. got to full draw on a decent public land 5x6 in a unit not known for being easy for elk hunters. As I waited for him to clear a tree the wind swirled and he left without a second look. not this season... working hard on prep and scouting, going to make it happen with the bow.
Anyways, thanks for having me here, look forward to talking hunting and learning from everyone
