CVA has 35% off on trading in pre 1999 muzzleloaders

I just got an email from CVA. It basically said you can trade in your pre-1999 muzzleloader, and receive 35% off of several newer muzzleloaders they have. They are saying that these pre 99' guns are "antiques" compared to the newer guns on they offer these days.

This seems like a good deal until you realize the coupon is only good for online sales on their website. They sell at full msrp and charge for shipping and handling ($35 from GA to my home next door in AL), while Bud's Gun Shop and others sell way below msrp and offer free shipping. Considering you have to pay to ship your gun to them, 35% is no deal at all. You are basically just giving them your gun and paying full price for a new one. My old CVA rifles may be antiques, but they shoot fine. No need to turn them in, unless there is something they are not telling us.
