Kangaroos released in Wyoming! Are you kidding me?

Nice! I hope when they issue tags for them they come with a hat and a KNIFE!

Why was my first reaction before even reading the article. I'd be interested to see how year 1 goes for them though.

What? How is this not a joke?
I'm in shock at how stupid this is. I wonder what happens when they wander onto the reservation and get shot? Maybe they should be working on improving habitat for the struggling deer and sheep herds that use that exact same area for winter ground.

Although I have to admit I would love to see a Grizz lay into a Kangaroo haha that would be great!

I first thought this was an Onion post.

Apparently, it is real.

How will they survive the winter?

I hear they wanted to try a three way cross for a new kind of jumping jackalope.

Tell ya, since they did the hybridization of the lope and jack, I believe this will fit well within the WY range. Gerald has inside knowledge... ;)

It was done as woof control. The woofs die trying to run them down.

Also heard they're working on bring back the short faced bear and the saber tooth tiger for a little more friendly competition with the grizzlies and wolves. Should make backpack hunting pretty interesting too.
