Going to be pushing this through my 85 Finnlight in 6.5x55 up to and including Elk. Curious as to others experience with it.

You have the exact rifle, caliber, and bullet that I was going to switch to this past winter!! I'm jealous! Keep us posted on how it works!

Its my go to rifle for everything. Currently spitting out 130gr Accubonds. Got a 300WSM setup almost identical.

My experience with it is limited to load development in a Howa 1500 chambered in 6.5 creedmoor and one mountain goat hunt. It has shown to be a very accurate bullet out to 200 yards (.75ish MOA out of a rifle with a bedding job, pillars and floating); the 42.5 grains of H4350 proved to be an accurate node and I'm pushing the bullet out at about 2800 fps with a 24" barrel featuring 1:8 twist; I left the jump at .050" per Barnes recommendations and will likely not play further with seating depth. The bullet was a complete pass through on my nanny that did significant damage on its way through for a high weight retention bullet and was most importantly a quick ethical kill.

I'm a little late to the party but here it goes. Its hard to beat an Xbullet on game. With that being said of the 5 different 6.5s I've owned, I haven't been able to get them to shoot. A cooper 260 shoots 130 accubonds, cooper 6.5 creedmoor shoots 143 eldx, MOA 26 nosler finally wanted to shoot 140vlds, 264 win 140 vlds and cooper 6.5x284 140 vlds. I would blink an eye at killing talking elk with any bullet over 125 grains out of any 6.5 and all of the above mentioned have killed elk with the exception of the 260 without any issue.
