Caribou Gear Tarp

Perfect

a number of chamberings on the list I'd be happy with. What makes a rifle perfect to me are the ergonomics and balance.

Sako 75 for example. It just fits and points perfect.

Strangely, the only Sako 75 I own I'm considering selling. It's in 375h&h. I bought it when I was well paid and the future was bright with thoughts of coastal brownies and eventually Africa. I walked away from that job for a more laid back job in a location that I love. Brown bear hunts go up every year, Africa no longer calls, and college tuition for the daughter is frightening.

I'm kinda partial to calibers that have been around a while, you know, not this new fangled 6.5 stuff. I almost always reach for one of the mauser family cartridges, and most of the time it's a 6.5x55 m70 fwt. I think eventually I'll find a stainless/synthetic 6.5, I think since oak is gonna send it to me, I'll make an exception about the age of the cartridge and I'll have to buy a new set of dies.
