If I was u I would try a deer hunt . Check the montana website after April 17 to see if there's any leftover deer combos . If there is they'll go on sale around may 1 . If your stuck on elk then buy the big game combo that includes deer and elk and pick a gen unit . Maybe you'll fill both tags or atleast the deer
