Here is something to consider for those fortunate to shoot a ram.
Ram horns are excellent for carving.

(This was my first ram from 1996, so I paid Tom Cooper from Soldatna
to carve it)
 
Very cool! We saw lots of different antler and horn carvings on our trips but they were priced WAY out of our budget!
 
Very cool, however if I am ever fortunate enough to kill a ram he will be going on my wall as a shoulder mount.

20 years ago the price was $500 for one ram carved, $600 for 2, $700 for 3 rams carved in one horn.
My personal preference was a horn carved rather than more $ for a taxidermy bill 20 years ago.
