My son caught his best brown trout today on a local tailwater. It was pretty funny to watch the dozen or so fly fisherman (that look like they just stepped out of an Orvis catalog, me included) shaking their heads at the eight-year-old kid with the twenty dollar spinning rod.

When I read "Colorado Brownies" I was not sure what I was going to see! :D

Great looking trout and always awesome to see the younger generations enjoying the outdoors.
 
Sweet!! I love to pull out my spinners next to some greenies in our mountain streams. No offense intended.
Brookies and browns are hungry up here too.
