I'm having a hard time deciding whether to hunt Colorado Unit 74 or 75 for muzzleloader mule deer this season.
I have a point, so guaranteed for either unit. My good buddy grew up around there and will be going with me, so either way it's going to be fun regardless. We've talked about each unit and their differences. He doesn't want to steer me one way or the other, which is really cool actually since it's my hunt.
My dilemma is that I would like to hunt the same unit every year or every other, and get to know it, hunt it annually or every other, so probably putting more pressure on my decision than I should.
I'm definitely leaning in one direction, to the East, but would like to hear more opinions about these two. Am I splitting hairs?
