Searching the net is fruitless, so I'll just ask. Has anyone done a trespass fee hunt that they would recommend ? And just to preserve the landowner peace/privacy from a bombardment of useless inquiry, send me a PM. Units 1-9, or in that general area.

not in those units, but I had good luck knocking on doors and asking landowners. Our group found a ranch in SE Wyoming that charged us $100 per hunter for the week. out of 5 of us we took 3 nice bucks and 3 does off the ranch.

if you hunt around lusk, you better get on them opening day if the private thing doesn't work out. there is some public around there. we hunted it last year as part of a youth antelope/deer combo. we were there a couple weeks after the season opened. it was tough. first time I had ever been part of a group that had to eat an antelope tag. fortunately the deer hunt ing SE Montana worked out for the boys though.
