A friend designed this 38" barrel with internal chock. He put the under rib, back site and front site on. I laid the original barrel next to the new barrel, You can see the internal chock begin about 2" back from the front sight.
I recently pick up another early shotgun. I get Keith to do another barrel for this gun. The original barrel is 32.5"
I make my own cartridges and this gun will reach out 60-65 yards once the right charge and load is factored in.
I t takes me a day to ride out to visit Keith and have him fit the stock and shoot a few time.
Barrel all completed cost me $550.00

Nice! My dad has an old muzzleloading shotgun he found in an abandoned house. I'll have to see if I can get some pictures the next time I'm down there. I always thought it would be cool to get a turkey with one.
