I want to thank all of you for the great support of the podcast. You could say it is "climbing the charts." We are one of the largest outdoor podcasts and even larger among hunting podcasts.

Many of you are downloading it. Many of you are sharing it with your friends.

Libsyn, the platform that controls the market on podcast distribution, states that if you average over 10,000 downloads, you are in the Top 1% of podcasts. Well, we are averaging over 50,000 downloads and some of our episodes have pushed through 60,000+.

If you would have told me that many people would listen to Randy Newberg spin a line of BS, I would have laughed. Yet, the trend line is still going upward with each new episode.

We are now targeted by large advertising clearinghouses. Your probably hear some of those in other podcasts you listen to. For me, it is not worth the additional money to have our podcast gummed up with non-hunting advertising. So, we politely pass on those requests.

Thanks again. It has only happened and become this level of success due to the support from so many. Can't thank you enough.

For those not following, here are places you can find it. Feel free to share.

These podcasts are awesome Randy. I travel a lot and listen to them going down the road. It's a great way to pass the time and not hear the same old songs on the radio...Thank you!

I really enjoy the podcast. Just wish it was weekly. Two weeks is too long to wait for those words of wisdom:)

That's Great! Congrats!
I enjoy these during my commute. Thank YOU.

Thanks friend, you don't know how much I appreciate your podcasts. I'm on the road way to much and it helps to be able to keep up while driving down the road.

I was a subscriber from the first one and look forward to each and every one. I also would like to see more but understand the effort it takes to produce something of quality so I'll take them as the come.

Okay, so I am a little (or a lot) illiterate on this technology. I have listened to some on you tube, but would like to download so I can listen to them in the truck on my 1 hour drive to and from work. What would be the best way to do this?

If you have a smart phone(or a ipod) you can download an app that will let you listen to podcasts. I use one called OneCast. You can download the episodes onto your phone and listen to them whether you have phone reception or not (I usually do this when my phone is connected to wifi at home so I don't use up all my phone data)

Thanks Randy I love the podcast. I was first introduced to you from your appearance on the MeatEater podcast and I've been listening ever since. I also appreciate that you don't do a bunch of advertisements, I know money is hard to turn down and I respect that.

Yeah, this is great news! You and Steve Rinella are at the top of my podcast list. Keep it up!

Thanks again BF!
I'm watching them on my pc thru Dish now.
Passing them on to others all the time along with your other ones from RMEF & from BHA TRCF ME HGC......
I know I have been unfriended by some folks, but too effing bad if they can't stand the truth.

I'm trying to get thru the Newberg/Hockett Colorado Elk Hunt episode...good stuff when time allows.

I wanted to say thank you for what you do. I love the podcasts. I am one of those folk, that I believe you mentioned in a podcast, that travel an hour to work. I listen to you and Rinella to and from work. Much better than listening to the terrible radio stations we have here in PA that play nothing but the new "pop/hip hop country." Congrats on your success and I look forward to your future episodes of podcasts, Youtube videos and, of course, Fresh Tracks.
