So I just got back from another great week in Wyoming with a late cow tag in my pocket. The trip out and back was about the best I’ve had and nothing like what I expected for mid-January. Each way is about 26 hours and going out it was sunny almost the whole way and coming back I got into some rain but the temperature was above freezing from the Wyoming border all the way back to Pa. I never laid eyes on a cow but saw three nice bulls and scores of deer including some great bucks, an eagle and a flock of turkeys. Hope to try again next year or the year after.
