Hello Everyone,
I found this forum through watching the show Meateater, and then listening to Randy Newberg on one of their podcasts. I then soaked in as much of the information I could from Randy's YouTube channel (Thank you Randy!!!)
I am a Firefighter in upstate New York, when I have spare time I hunt most things available to me locally. Going out west has been something on my radar for a while, but due to work never devoted the time to making it happen. After watching some of the hunting shows from the west I decided it was time to head out that way and witness the beauty and vastness of the nature in the west. Where I am from its hard to walk 5 miles without hitting a road. I am looking forward to exploring the humbling vastness of true wilderness.
I would like to pre-thank everyone on here for the knowledge and experiences that you all are willing to share with those like me who still have so much to learn.
