Wyoming mule deer questions from the Great Lakes

Wondering if any of you have any tips on hunting mule deer in region t in Wyoming? A couple of us from Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula want to hunt Mulies (rifle) and our window of time is late September/early October. Since this is our first run at it, we don't have preference points ,so We figure Wyoming and region T is our only chance to hunt. Any tips? Thanks all!!

Whitetails in that region with mule deer. Some HMA's and walkin but mostly private. Close by regions can also be drawn with your PP situation and may have better hunting. Call the warden and some landowners for access early, before you apply if possible.

Thanks for the info wytex. Yeah, it looks like we'll probably focus on the walk ins. I will take a better look at B to the north. Based on our preferred Oct 1 timeline and the draw odds, that could be another choice. Thanks again.
