Looking at going to area 705 in Montana, any insight to the area. Some of the public areas look rough from aerial images. Pronghorns available on the public areas?

Numbers still not great. There are a few to be had though. Id have a backup plan in mind as draw odds aren't good for nonresidents unless youre going for the archery only tag.

I would also wait and see what this winter does. There is still a lot more to go. Who knows what will be left...

Yep, the weather has been nasty over that way all the way through ND. A buddy that has a 1000 acre ranch an hour west of Bismarck is worried that the lengthy brutal weather will really knock the animals for a loop and the pheasants already have been dying by the score the last two weeks and there is three months of weather to watch yet!
