We just returned from a week long hunt and saw about 60 does and only 2 young bucks. The young bucks were following the does around pretty hard but looked like we missed the rut by a week or two. We saw groups of 4 and 5 full grown does with no bucks several times.
Saw 2 coues deer as well one buck by himself and one does by herself. We did have a good time and had action everyday. The good thing about AZ is that the tag is good for the entire year and that's great for when you have to go home empty handed.
If anybody else hunts near Roosevelt pm me for a couple of good spots we found that had several heards of deer if you wanna trade a little info.
