Thread: Flatlander

  1. Default Flatlander

Hey Guys, I am new to this forum or any forum. I am wondering if anyone knows of a hunt unit in MT that isn't too steep and holds decent Elk numbers. I want to take my wife on a Rifle hunt but she has knee and hip issues. Flat ground is fine, we hunted Unit 7 this year and she put on about 20 miles without issue. We both took Antelope and she got her first whitetail. I am looking for a spot she can walk without destroying her joints. Let me know if anyone can help. Thanks in Advance.

PS Randy, Love the show! Keep it up.

    Welcome to the forum.

I have no answer to your question. In my mind, the first step toward any elk has always been UP.
Can't figure people down there eating hog when they could feed on elk.
