I normally don't get many shots at divers in NM, but managed to get two redheads yesterday to fill out a nice limit. While paddling around a large lake in southern NM I flushed a small flock out of cove; decided to set up and see if they would return. It took over 2 hours but they finally did, after shooting two I finished with a pintail drake.

Good looking rack of ducks. What kind of boat do you have that you were paddling around? I use an aquapod but we have been locked up in ice for the last two weeks. Hoping for some relief the last two weeks of our season.

Thats an awesome shoot, I love a good old diver hunt reds, canvasbacks, shovelers. They never seem to stick around much up here though to be in full plume like that. Great hunt love the pinners too. Probably one of my favorites.
