Woke up this morning to my 6 year old drawing Daddy a pic of things she enjoys doing with me, deer hunting and eating pizza. Man I love that little girl!

I see she already has an appreciation for antler mass. Those antlers she drew could have been easily just lines. She had to thicken them up a bit.

My canyon crawling, mountain climbing, bushwhacking, load humping, ground sleeping, backcountry SOB pardner for 27 years is moving on to retiree stage. Deserves it.
We've logged countless miles, ascended and descended tens of thousands of feet, and seen some country while traipsing around SW MT's mountain ranges - public lands.

I think the unusual cold snap hurt our chances, but the boys and I did give trapping a try this year.
