Does anybody else hunt with a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever?

Tikka is 9 months old and the pheasants in PA know that they're not safe when they hear her coming. Next year we're hoping to get her Tolling ducks. 43014186-17DB-4790-B9FB-74EA6CB603F1.jpg

IN the late 80's there a well written article in Sports Afield about Tolling for ducks on Long Island, NY. It was a great read. Crazy to think of hunting ducks in a corn field with no decoys. Great luck with your pup.

Saw a few in the HRC grands. Awsome working dog. Enjoyed watching them and the Boykins.

Tollers are smart and vocal and will dominate the house if you are not careful....maybe even if you are.

Mine have been real characters.

Tolling works on the water. It takes the right circumstances but curious birds will swim in while you hide and the dog retrieves....doesn't have to be a toller to work.
