Not his first deer or his first buck but thought id post up the pics here. Shot him mid Nov. He skinned and quarted it mostly by himself. He carried the front quarters and skull out the 2 miles to the truck i had the rest. The buck has a deformed rack on the left but still a trophy to us...




 
Way to go young man!! Lots of good lessons been taught there it looks like.
 
Righteous buck. I'm planning a DIY black bear and whitetail hunt in Idaho and looking forward to taking a nice bear. Any recommendations on Idaho units and methods as well. Thanks

LoL, with your help im hoping he does get his first bear. Can't wait til spring!
