2017 Archery Antelope Hunt Help!

I'm looking to go on my first Antelope hunt this upcoming fall. Looking for a unit I can draw with no points. I don't care if I kill a big goat I'm just looking for a fun hunt where I'll have opportunities. Any tips, advice, or knowledge you want to share would be greatly appreciated. I'm from Utah but not picky on the state. I would like to keep the trip under 1500$. This will be a DIY hunt. Thanks in advance.

Just about all of Eastern CO is OTC for archery with lots of public land.

Bro, if you're bowhunting try Idaho. Controlled Hunt 21A1 offers unlimited tags for archery either sex. The season runs from the middle of August to the middle of September. No points needed and there's plenty of BLM and NF land to hunt. If you need more info send me a pm.

+2 for Idaho Antelope, put your first choice as the early tag than the second choice as the 2nd bow season unlimited tag, I do this every year and I have an antelope tag every year in my pocket, so does my wife....
