Cold day running the line

-30 with the wind chill here today made for a cold day running the line. Had 40% of my snares knocked down by the wind and deer but had some success so that helped keep me somewhat warm feeling



 
I'm headed east for an elk B tag shoulder season next weekend. Might just end up calling coyotes the whole time!
 
Nice catch. We are having the same weather so I am hoping for some good luck on my snares and coyote baits
 
I like that. Cats and snares bring me back to some good old days. Not sure there exists an easier way to catch a bobcat than with a snare in front of a tight cubby.

I hear ya. To me a cat is one of the easiest animals to catch. The hardest part is finding sign
 
Very well done!! Rumor has it that IN will allow us to take bobcats in the next couple of years. I so hope they allow trapping as I'd like to replicate what you did.
