I've got a turkey in the smoker almost done. I'm also adding wild game to the mix. I brined 2 boned out turkey breast fillets in apple cider and coated them with maple syrup. I'm going to grill the thinner one and smoke the other. I'm also doing some deer backstrap on the grill. My wife's family will be our guests and have always liked the little bit of game meat I've added to family dinners. Hopefully all works out well.

Man that sounds great! I am smoking a wild hog backstrap and a backstrap off my muley for the Iron Bowl Saturday. What your brine recipe?
