That's one amazing adventure you had together. Congratulations on such fine memories.
Besides caribou, did you see any other game animals?
I'm guessing that the only firewood materials are small twigs/branches of the scrub growth....maybe the largest piece being wrist sized in diameter?
Would you consider bringing some fishing gear as a reason to extend a trip if the big game tags are filled quickly?

Thank you all! It was an amazing trip. As far as adding other animals, we had moose & wolf tags in our pockets but because of the overly nice weather we did not stay longer. We were worried about our meat spoiling as highs were approaching 70. We actually flew back the day before moose opened. We could have stayed and hunted for a moose as our tags would have been valid in that area but we decided that a moose could wait for our trip on the Yukon River. If we are lucky enough to ever draw this tag again I would definitely do it!!!
