Georgia Public Land Deer

Killed my first Georgia deer, spike, on public land Monday afternoon. Shot him from the ground at 8 yards and made a terrible shot. Was able to follow up with another arrow. Left him overnight and came back with my dog. Deer only went about 100 yards and is now packaged nicely in my freezer.

No its been pretty cold at night, for Georgia, since the Hurricane went thru.
